If you are a strong leader with team building skills, great organization and are capable of doing what it takes to succeed, we want to talk with you.  This position reports to the Restaurant General Manager and requires exceptional customer service, ability to "think on your feet", strong problem solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members and guests from different backgrounds, age groups and ethnicities.

 

Minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity required. Word and Excel will be used daily. High School graduate with two (2) years of college or equivalent experience is also required.

 

Responsibilities include:

·         Maintaining service standard through hiring, assigning, training, motivation, and termination of personnel.

·         Overseeing all operational aspects of the restaurant while on-duty. Supervises food and beverage service personnel in accordance with operating policies.

·         Working effectively and efficiently with other managers and consistently demonstrating the ability to solve problems.

·         Works with food and beverage personnel with regard to presentation and portions.  Checks food preparation and dining areas for cleanliness. Checks stations for adequacy of supplies used for refill or replacement purposes.

·         Executes the general responsibilities necessary to minimize operating costs.

·         Maintains active relationships with suppliers and/or vendors by continually assessing needs, levels of satisfaction with supplier’s services, and initiating feedback to suppliers as necessary.

·         Reviews and analyzes financial information and takes appropriate steps to ensure efficient operations.

·         Conducts at least one meeting per quarter with team /leads to, assess development needs, explore training opportunities, review department issues, review financial reports.

·         Maintains and interacts with the guests through table touching and neighborhood marketing activities, periodically assessing guest needs to insure complete satisfaction.

·         Identifies, investigates and resolves food quality and/or guest service complaints. Takes appropriate action to resolve ongoing concerns.

·         Displaying team-building skills and always handling all assignments with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

·         Assures verbal and/or written coaching/counseling records are documented.
